Starting today the Forge is going silent until early July. We are heading out on an extensive tour of Europe. And yes, we are visiting every city on that route (we have to go through London to get there and I couldn’t resist adding our namesake city even though we’re going nowhere near it). The Griswolds have nothing on us.
We’ll be boarding a plane from O’Hare to Heathrow about the time of kickoff tonight and will arrive back in the Magic City about half-time of the Rhode Island away game on July 5th. This means we will miss 4 games, 3 of them at home. All of the games will kick off at 1:00am or later, so even watching them live on YouTube would be tough. I’m sure you all feel sorry for our sacrifice.
