Yet again the Legion fell foul to Alabama weather, this time for an away game though as their travel plans got scotched. That means the back end of the schedule is getting even more crowded. On the plus side, they were able to sit aside and watch the rest of the league beat up on each other. Ultimately, all the results were in the Three Sparks’ favor except for the Rhode Island FC win.
There was far less scoring this week, New Mexico United notwithstanding. They are consolidating their position atop the rankings with continued strong performances and are also just 4 points off the top of the Western Conference with a whopping 3 games in hand.
Clearly, this is another quickie post as yours truly remains in the UK for the next 2 days. Back to normal very soon!
