Legion FC announces two additional friendlies

In what was not an April Fool’s joke (this was, though), Legion FC announces Thursday it will play two friendlies against opposition from the Volunteer State.

April 10th, a week from today, they will travel to Nashville to take on Nashville SC of MLS, and the following Saturday they will host Chattanooga Red Wolves of USL League One. Both games will be closed to the public, but the club is exploring possibilities for a live stream of both games.

Nashville SC is a continuation of the former USL Championship team and began play in MLS in 2020, finishing 7th in the Eastern Conference and 14th overall, a respectable performance for an expansion team.

The Red Wolves have been in existence two seasons, finishing 5th in League One both years. They will start their preseason against Atlanta United 2 on April 10th.

Another MLS preseason friendly suggests that the Legion is taking the 2021 season very seriously. And that is extremely good news.
